It’s book 3 in the Valorian Chronicles and stars one of my favorite characters, Lyra Magice, the fiery, fiesty witch. I really enjoyed writing her story and pairing her up with one hotty Frenchman, Theron LeNoir. I’ve received my first review for the book from RT, and I’m thrilled. I received a RT TOP PICK for this book… A police detective in Necropolis, witch Lyra Magice works with Theron LeNoir, half-witch/half-vampire, to foil a demon’s plot to take power within the city. It was too bad she wasn’t really his type or he’d certainly try before he had to catch his private plane back to France. “I was merely taking pity on you, petite sociere. You are much too uptight and I thought you needed to…relax a little and enjoy what Nouveau-Monde had to offer.” The power she tossed at him nearly pushed him back a few steps. It was like basking in a forest fire. Her aura sparked and flared with orange, yellow and red. It was incredible to see. I loved the excerpt! :grin: Congrats on the wonderful review and I’ll be looking out for the book when I go to my local bookstore. I’ve read the second book, Dark Lies, but not the first book, Blood Secrets, unfortunately because it is out of print by the time I found out about it.
