Summer Movies

Karen Anders

It’s that time again. What is everyone going to go see this year at the movies? The movie I anticipated and just saw last week was Sex and the City. Let me know and I’ll provide one backlist book to one poster.

  1. I loved Sex and the City! I am looking forward to Wanted with Angelina Jolie and The Happening with Mark Wahlberg. And of course, we have seen Iron Man and Indiana Jones.

  3. I hardly ever go to the movies. No movie theaters in countryside. In my case, it’s more along the lines of waiting what movies they’ll show on TV this summer and what I can get on DVD.

  4. I haven’t been to a movies for years - will wait til they’re on TV. Looking forward to Kung Fu Panda.

  7. it’s more along the lines of waiting what movies they’ll show on TV this summer and what I can get on DVD. The theatre is far away from us.

  10. Unfortunately, I never seem to make it to the theatre unless I take my son to a movie he wants to see. OUr next one will probably Wall-E. He’s been looking forward to it for awhile. All the movies I want to see will have to wait till they are released onto DVD.

  11. Alas, for me, the question has to be worded what DVDs are you looking forward to because we so rarely go to the movies — too pricey. But in any case, I really don’t watch a whole lot, but between now and next year, it’s a miracle — 5 movies are on my list! :) Indy IV, X-Files 2, Star Wars - Clone Wars, next James Bond and Star Trek whatever it’s going to be called. :)

  15. My friend and I went last weekend to see The Chronicles of Narnia and loved it! The weekend before that we saw Indiana Jones and that was great! I was talking to a friend and he said he loved Indiana Jones especially the woman villian. In one scene she crushes a bug between her legs. Kevin said “Did you notice that the bug didn’t leave a stain on her suit?” The movie has it’s moments but I still liked it! It is reminiscent of the first and third movies.

Also, I rented The Bee Movie. That was hilarious! Jerry Seinfeld is the voice of the bee. He is great!

I also want to see the animated movie called “Wall-E”. That looks hilarious! Also, I have been told that Iron Man is really good!

    Have a fun summer everyone!
