Cancelled

Well, you can’t fight Mother Nature.

I know. I’ve tried. She wins. Especially today and the past two days. With the wind rattling the windows, snapping trees like twigs and toying with electrical lines I can’t hold my dear blog chat about The Glass Slipper Project. I don’t trust that I’ll be able to access the internet in the way that would allow the chat to work. Power keeps flickering in and out (and I’m writing this as fast as I can early in the morning–around two or three, I don’t know anymore–in case I lose power again…sigh). Oh well. I won’t complain (though tempting), because you can’t fight Mother Nature and making her angry doesn’t help either. I’ve gone over two weeks without power before…it’s not a pretty picture.

I’m sorry to hear that you’re having bad weather and losing electricity. It sounds like you need some candles and a great book to read. By the way, thanks again for the cover flat of The Glass Slipper Project.

Hello Dara,

I know what you mean we been having bad weather for the past two days now nothing but lots and lots of rain. Power is fine though I am sorry to hear its bad for you. Hope everything gets better because this weather sucks btu I prefer rain then snow LoL.

Sorry to hear about the weather giving you grief. It just won’t let up. Stay safe, and maybe the candlelight will inspire some great writing.

Hi Dara: We had problems with our power yesterday, but we seem to be doing better today. We still have lots of wind, but at least the rain stopped. I hope you can at least enjoy the peace and solitude of no electricty with a good book.
