Last week the ARCs for my upcoming release Your Mouth Drives Me Crazy arrived on my doorstep. To be technically correct, the fedex guy put a box of uncorrected proofs on my front porch. For me this is as exciting as Christmas. It gives me a little thrill to hold the manuscript in book form the first time and to know the review copies are going out. That means the release date is right around the corner. I love that.
Last week I also received a copy of the Spring ‘07 edition of Romance Sells. It’s a magazine sponsored by RWA and aimed at librarians and booksellers. In it is information on upcoming releases. Paging through I saw that not only was Your Mouth Drives Me Crazy in there (page 34, in case you’re wondering), but so are a bunch of books I’ve been waiting to read…some of which I forgot were being released during the next few months.
There are a lot of resources out there to check on upcoming releases. This one is not all-encompassing, but it’s a pretty good one. Some, not all, of the contents also are published on a website sponsored by RWA called Have We Got A Story For You. If you click on the red Attention… link on the top left, you’ll go to list of authors/books. Click again and you’ll see the actual content from the pages of Romance Sells.
To celebrate all of these releases, I’m giving away a small basket of Hawaii-themed goodies. Kauai, Hawaii being the setting for Your Mouth Drives Me Crazy. Go check out the Romance Sells listings. Leave a comment, including any books you saw in Romance Sells that you want, and let me know where you get your information on upcoming releases, and you’ll be entered to win. I’ll pick a winner at random on Saturday. Good luck!!

Besides your book, of course, I’m interested in Helen Kirkman’s, Elizabeth Hoyt’s and Marianne Stillings new books. The website All About Romance has listings of new books that are coming out so I’ll check there but I like this site since it has more information than just a listing.

Hey, I think I like that site. It’s a new one for me. Mostly I firstly visit the author sites I have saved as bookmarks once a month. I finally bookmarked this site — http://www.fantasticfiction.co.uk/ — and this one looks really good for upcoming ones as well. . . hmm, then I guess from blogs, amazon.com wish lists that I might catch, Romance Junkies. . . and just anywhere that mentions books something might catch my eye. :)

I get most of my new release news from e-mail newsletters and loops and occasionally (reword that to “not as often as I used to because I don’t have the time anymore”) author’s sites and blogs.
I haven’t been over to visit Romance Sells yet, but many of my favorite authors names were mentioned in previous posts and have been marked down to check them out.

Thanks for the link, I bookmarked it. It wouldn’t be a bad idea to distribute lists like this to readers. I noticed a number of books I wasn’t aware of yet, and some interesting ones I had heard of but forgotten already (like My Noble Knight by Cynthia Breeding and All About Evie by Beth Ciotta). I made notes this time. lol

HelenKay,
I get information from Amazon.com, author websites, romance and review websites(Access Romance, Fresh Fiction, Romance Junkies, etc.). I also like to read Romantic Times for information.
I spotted quite a few books on the Romance Sells listings that I wanted. Here are a few:
Rises the Night by Colleen Gleason
The Northern Devil by Diane Whiteside
The Leopard Prince by Elizabeth Hoyt
All-American Father by Anna DeStefano
The Naked Earl by Sally MacKenzie
Your Mouth Drives Me Crazy by the lovely HelenKay Dimon
There were more, but those are the most wanted for me. I swear, when the words “soon to be released” are mentioned in regards to books, I start salivating like one of Pavlov’s dogs. It’s just pathetic lol.

Nice setting for your story! I’m going there for the first time later this year. I can hardly stand the wait. I’ll have to read your book and get a little taste of it beforehand.

A few are Cherry Adair’s books, yours, Kathryn Caskie, How to Engage an Earl, Delilah Devlin Wild, Wild Women of the West, Myla Jackson, Wild, Wild Women of the West, Deidre Knight, Parallel Seduction and Diane Whiteside, The Northern Devil
