A Little Something New

Tuesday, June 20th, 2006

I’ve come to a shocking realization: my romance preferences are changing. For some reason, this surprises me. Very few things in life remain static, I know. Smart people recognize this fact and go with the flow. Me, well, it’s taken a bit longer to get the hint.
When I started reading [...]

To Do Lists

Monday, June 19th, 2006

We all have them. If we don’t write them down, we have them in our head. But how many of us actually complete them?
Not me. I suck at that. Or at least I thought I did.
I write lists every day and I follow them about 35% of them time. [...]

Liberty Festivals and Childhood Memories

Friday, June 16th, 2006

This weekend is our city’s “Liberty Fest”, the official launch of the summer’s 4th of July festivities. There will be games, parades, fireworks and arts and crafts booths. Great fun!
Summer’s here! Whoo hooo!
I love the 4th of July. Not because it’s my birthday (now that I’m older, I HATE that part ggg) and (I admit) [...]

The Search for Romance

Thursday, June 15th, 2006

Ever notice how the best movies contain at least a little romance? Now granted, my favorite flicks are things like A Room With a View or Moonstruck or even all the way back to the Katherine Hepburn & Cary Grant gem, The Philadelphia Story. But I do watch plenty of non-romance movies since [...]

My favorite TV show

Wednesday, June 14th, 2006

When I was in elementary school, I had two favorite TVs shows. (Hey! You have to WAIT for it BEFORE you start making fun of me.) First, I loved Star Trek: The Next Generation. Okay, no, the storylines usually made no sense, the characters tended to be cardboard-flat, all the [...]

Write Faster!

Tuesday, June 13th, 2006

Me, write faster? No, I’m pretty prolific as is, and in fact I sometimes slow myself down to keep from burning out. Some personal favorite authors of mine don’t write fast enough to suit me. As am author I’m always curious about what keeps some wonderfully creative authors from writing more books or from writing [...]
