Ahem. Well, to say my brain is thoroughly fried from surviving my third Romantic Times conference is an understatement. To give you an example, I tried typing in this blog entry once before and managed to delete it while trying to upload a photograph. ARGHHHH. Try, try again.
Because my brain is mush, I’m doing a very small blog entry this time and begging your indulgence. 
Romantic Times conference always features a great number of parties, workshops, and network opportunities for several days. Enough to ensure major brain damage. 
The highlight of my Romantic Times conference experience this year came when I participated as a member of the Faery Court at the first Faery Court party put on at the conference ever. Several of us gathered together (headed up by Cheyenne McCray and Eden Robins) and planned for months to design the event. With the enormous help of dressmaker and set designer Connie Perry and the assistance of Romantic Times staff, the ballroom at the Hilton in Daytona Beach turned into a fairy forest. Connie also made many of our dresses, and the complements we received on these creations were mega gratifying. Here’s a photograph of the Faery Court. I’m sitting in front, far right, in the bronze dress.

Yes, I had a very good time, although I have to admit the rehersal part for the Faery Court was a bit taxing. 
We were all so wound up that we’d get things wrong that people were having mini anxieties.

I saw this pic at Sylvia’s blog - it looks like everyone had fun. I love the costumes. Great job Denise. Sorry to hear it was stressful but I hope it was worth it and you were able to enjoy yourself.
