HelenKay Dimon spends her days as a divorce lawyer specializing in unhappy endings and her evenings trying to forget all that. One day somewhere in 1999 during a particularly difficult string of cases, a former co-worker (who wisely left the practice of law for the music industry) handed her a romance novel with the promise of a much-needed escape and a happy ending.

Having caught the romance reading bug, a case of the romance writing flu followed soon after. With an assist from Lori Foster and her Brava Novella Contest - yeah, what is the word for eternally grateful - she attracted the attention of Kate Duffy at Kensington Publishing. That attention eventually turned into THE CALL. Her debut novella was included in the April 2006 Brava anthology When Good Things Happen To Bad Boys with Lori Foster and Erin McCarthy. August 2006 marks a new milestone – the release of Viva Las Bad Boys! - her first solo release. And there's more to come...!

When not working on something, writing or otherwise, she spends as much time as possible with her supportive and adorable husband James (also an attorney but a happy one) and enjoys the ins and outs of the Washington, D.C. metro area.
